‘Roots of The Window Box’

The origin of  ‘Roots of The Window Box’ is the first prayer Jeanine’s Mom taught her about 75 years ago:

“Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.”

‘Pater Noster’

(Latin)   from   Matthew   6:9-13,   the   ‘Our   Father:’ 6th Century   Roman   Half-uncial   executed   on   18”   x   24”   Strathmore   paper (characteristically  reminiscent  of   having  qualities   similar  to  a  sheep skin  used  for lettering   the   ancient   writs   in   the   early   centuries   after   the   Savior’s   death   and Resurrection). Done in alabaster white, brown and sepia India inks. The piece is double-matted in cream and russet brown, encased by a simple 1.5” black wooden frame – 22” x 28” – in order to accent the writ’s subtleties with Museum Glass covering.
